Bob's Blog - the Great Yellow Journey

Welcome!

Hello! This is the first post on my Great Yellow Bumblebee journey. Through my work with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust I'll be visiting the parts of north and west Scotland where this striking beast can still be found - its last refuges in the UK. Here, you can follow my progress, and share in our successes along the way as we try to help this lovely bee. The queens usually emerge from hibernation in June, so they are late risers compared with many other bumblebees - 18 different species in Scotland alone.

More to come - watch this space!

er on my travels.
