Join one of our volunteers, John Butler, for a guided walk around the National Trust’s Lytes Cary estate. We will catch and look at the different bumblebee species up close, learning how to identify each species, and try to find the rare Shrill Carder Bumblebee. Each safari will last about 90 minutes.
Meet at reception at Lytes Cary Manor. For directions click here.
The safari around the estate is free but donations to Bumblebee Conservation Trust are always welcome. Please book via the National Trust, by phone on 01458 224471, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to visit the house and gardens after the safari then normal National Trust admission charges will apply.
This event is suitable for adults and older children wearing outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate for rough field margins and long grass. The walk may be cancelled or delayed in the event of rain at the scheduled start time.
