Help us protect bumblebees – before it’s too late

Due to rising costs and increasing pressure on funding, we’re being forced to scale back our work, putting bumblebees at risk of further decline, just when they need us most.

What’s happening

Because of increasing costs, we’ve already had to make painful decisions, including staff redundancies. This comes at a time when bumblebees are already struggling to recover following their worst year on record.

And it’s not just rare species in decline. Even familiar ones like the Red-tailed bumblebee saw a devastating 74% drop in numbers in 2024. We simply can’t stand by and watch them disappear for good.

With costs rising and nature in crisis, our team is stretched to the limit. We’re now facing the heart-breaking reality that some of our most vital projects may have to stop.

We urgently need to raise £50,000

Your donation today will help us continue our work to protect bumblebees. From restoring wildflower habitats and monitoring bumblebee populations, to inspiring the next generation and campaigning for stronger protections.

Every gift matters
  • £35 could help train a new BeeWalk volunteer to help monitor bumblebee populations
  • £100 helps provide guidance to land owners to create more bumblebee-friendly areas
  • £250 could create 1,000m2 of habitat, that’s roughly the size of a tennis court

Your gift will be put to work right away to make sure no more bumblebee species risk the fate of extinction.

If you’ve ever thought about giving a one-off donation, we’re asking you to please, make it today.
