Campaigning wins
Real change is possible, and it’s already happening:
- Neonicotinoid pesticides finally banned in the UK
- Scottish Government agrees to set legally binding nature recovery targets
- UK Government sets first ever pesticide reduction target
These wins happened because people took action. You can be part of what’s next.
The bumblebee manifesto
Our bumblebee manifesto calls for five key actions to get bumblebees and other pollinators thriving again. We’re asking governments to:
Prioritise pollinators, not pesticides
- Phase out pesticides in homes and public spaces
- Support farmers to reduce pesticide use
- Test all pesticide ingredients for bumblebee safety
Read our pesticides position.
Put flower-rich habitats back on the map
- Make pollinators a priority in land use laws
- Restore wildflower meadows (97% have been lost)
- Empower people to create bumblebee-friendly spaces

Target support for rare species
- Fund conservation for the most vulnerable bumblebees
- Set legal targets to reverse bumblebee decline

Go further, faster on climate
- Ramp up climate action
- Restore grasslands to lock in carbon
- Plant trees in the right places
