Sustainability policy

To effectively tackle the climate crisis, every organisation must make significant changes to the way they operate. At Bumblebee Conservation Trust, we are committed to minimising the negative environmental impact of our actions and services, to adopting sustainable working practices and to accelerating the transition to net zero carbon.

We will measure our impact on the environment, engage with our staff and stakeholders about how we can reduce our impact, and communicate our journey transparently.

To guide our work in this area we have developed a sustainability policy, approved by the Board of Trustees in 2022. People wishing to engage with us, especially suppliers and contractors, are encouraged to read it.

Since 2019, we have been accredited with Planet Mark, recognising our commitment to measuring and reducing our carbon footprint and meeting a minimum carbon emission reduction of 5% each financial year.
