How your membership helps
By becoming a member, you’ll not only be joining our community of dedicated supporters, you’ll also be contributing to our vital conservation work across the UK to save bumblebees. Work like:
- Creating and restoring flower-rich grasslands so bumblebees have a place to feed, nest and hibernate
- Advising landowners, farmers and communities on how to enhance their land for bumblebees
- Raising awareness of the plight of the bumblebees through our work with communities, schools and members of the public
- Researching bumblebee decline and prevention through our bumblebee-monitoring scheme, BeeWalk

Who is eligible to receive the free soft toy?
A free bumblebee soft toy is included only when you join as a Family or Benefactor member in January 2026 or until stocks last.
What if I want to join as a different membership type?
When you join as an Individual, Joint, or Youth member, you’ll be supporting our important work and get to enjoy your other member benefits in your welcome pack.
As a thank you for your support, in January we’ll include a 30% discount voucher for our bumblebee soft toy, so you can purchase one online at a discounted rate.
Can I buy membership as a gift?
Absolutely! When you join, choose ‘Gift Membership‘ from the Membership Type, and then select either Family or Benefactor membership under the next ‘Gift Membership Type’ dropdown to claim your free soft toy.
Your membership pack and free soft toy will be sent to the recipient.
How long does the offer run for?
We’ll be adding one free soft toy to your membership pack throughout January, or until stocks last. Availability is limited, so we recommend joining as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
When will I receive my soft toy?
Your soft toy will be added to your membership welcome pack and be sent to the delivery address you provide during sign-up. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery.
